Metal forming is a generic term that can include a broad range of manufacturing processes, but it mainly consists of bending metal sheets into the desired geometry. At AVi, we use high-tech sheet metal forming machines with the latest in computer software to manufacture all manner of metal formed products.

With four press brakes available in-house, we have the capability to fold material up to 3000 mm in length and up to 180 tonnes.

Our experienced team of programmers and press brake operators know how to get the best out of our machines. Programmes can be created on the machine control or offline to enable collision examination and control prior to the forming operation taking place. Each operator has access to a substantial selection of tooling, enabling us to produce complex bend sequences to meet the most demanding customer requirements.
